Mill Pond
Our mill pond has been leaking...
To conserve water and stop further leaks, we’re putting in a concrete bottom
and rebuilding and re-pointing the walls.
You’ll see workmen here for the next eight weeks. So far, our contractors have
started to clean the mill pond, removing debris and an old pond liner.
Since Christmas, the grouting and water-proof pointing of the east wall has taken
place, along with much needed repairs to the turbine.
The bill for the project will be about £50,000.
